This coin celebrates the activities of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and its unique special operation Spiderweb – an important component of Ukraine’s national security system. The operation lasted about a year and a half and concluded on 1 June 2025, with a massive attack by 117 FPV drones on four enemy military airfields. The strike destroyed 41 aircraft of russia’s strategic aviation fleet. This result demonstrated Ukraine’s capability to carry out high-tech operations at long distances, confirming the resilience, professionalism, and intellectual prowess of Ukraine’s defenders. This coin honors the heroism, ingenuity, and technological mastery of SBU servicepersons, who, under the conditions of russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine, demonstrate an unparalleled ability to protect the state’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
