On top is the Chinese character 蛇, at the bottom left is the mint mark.
There are decorative curls along the edge of the medal.
At the bottom there is an inscription - the year of issue and the symbolism of the medal, on the sides of which two cubic zirconia crystals are inlaid.

Al centro della composizione si trova il segno Yin-Yang (simbolo tradizionale dell'armonia e dell'unità degli opposti nella filosofia cinese), circondato da una cornice decorativa con ornamenti greci.
Intorno all'elemento centrale, in un cerchio, si trovano le immagini dei dodici animali dello zodiaco cinese con una firma, ognuno dei quali simboleggia uno degli anni del ciclo dodecennale.

The commemorative medal "Year of the Snake" from the "Eastern Calendar" series was made in 2025 at the St. Petersburg Mint of Goznak. It is dedicated to the symbol of 2025 according to the Chinese zodiac calendar - the Snake.
The special feature of the medal is the insertion of two cubic zirconia crystals (synthetic zirconium dioxide) with a diameter of 1.75 mm each.
The medal is packaged in a capsule and a branded box, and a certificate is included.
