This 9 coin Masterpieces in Silver - Coins of the 20th Century Set was issued by the RAM in 1998.

This Set contains one NCLT Australian 50 cent & eight NCLT 20 cent Decimal coins. The obverse of each coin depicts the Decimal Denomination of the coin. All of the coins have Ian Rank-Broadley's 4th portrait of Queen Elizabeth on their obverse. All nine coins were dated 1998 on the obverse. The reverse of six of the 20 cent coins depicts a Pre-Decimal florin coin. Two of them depict both Decimal 20 cent coins issued up to 1995. The 50 cent coin depicts the 1937 Queen Victoria’s Diamond Crown.

The first 1998 20 Cent coin had a 1910 Florin design on its reverse.

The second 1998 20 Cent coin had a 1927 Florin design on its reverse.

The third 1998 20 Cent coin had a 1934-5 Florin design on its reverse.

The fourth 1998 20 Cent coin had a 1938 Florin design on its reverse.

The fifth 1998 20 Cent coin had a 1951 Florin design on its reverse.

The sixth 1998 20 Cent coin had a 1954 Florin design on its reverse.

The seventh 1998 20 Cent coin had the 1966 Platypus design on its reverse.

The eighth 1998 20 Cent coin had the 1995 United Nations design on its reverse.

The 1998 50 Cent coin had the 1937 Crown design on its reverse

Coins were issued in individual capsules, then placed in slots in an inner soft holder, that was inside a leatherette folding square square case, then in an outside cardboard slipcase.
