Descrizione
This birth set was designed to commemorate the birth of Princess Beatrix of The Netherlands, later Queen Beatrix, in 1938.
Due to unforseen circumstances (WW II) it was not issued until about 2006. At the time, Queen Beatrix was almost 70 years old.
The set was issued by Muntpost, and produced by the Dutch Royal Mint, using the old designs made by J.C. Wienecke from 1934 to 1938.
