I collect low mintage coins and i wanted to make a suggestion to Numista if they could add a filter for these types of coins for example coins in between 10,000-20,000 or 30,000-40,000 it would be a great filter to add in my opinion and i wouldn't have scroll through pages trying to finding low mintage coins.
I agree ! Maybe a button to display the coins (like from "lowest mintage" to "highest mintage" and the other way around), it would be great both in the research pages and in the "My collection" pages, to get a clear view of everything :)
Yes it would be. Glad to see someone else interested in this.
Maybe a slider would work - maybe from 10 to 1 billion, with an input field/text box for a specific mintage.

Are we then talking about total mintage (per type) or single year mintage (per line). Makes a big difference in how it is implemented. Plus there are sooo many coins with no known mintage, how do you handle those?

No new swaps for the moment, still too many half-ongoing swaps to clean up!
Im not sure on the unknown mintage coins
subjective term, low mintage?

No, No, I just see that as a good selection criterium.

I'm also interested in this ability to search by mintage quantities. I seek low mintage coins myself and even though some coins have no mintage listed the ones that do could possibly be shown in the search results. I mean if it's just a few clicks to set up I think it would be a great resource for those interested. I'm sure it's not on everyone's radar though.
I collect from a time where low mintage is in the low hundreds. 5000 or more is not low mintage, especially for some nations. How about an adopted rarity scale? Use the number of the scale as a tag?

This is a good idea. It would also have application in the banknote section, where some issue printages are very low.

That is a great suggestion! I have always wondered which coins in my collection have low mintage. I hope this gets implemented soon!

Did a google search to see if this was a thing and found this thread.

In my small collection of 1200 coins I'd love for an easy way to compare mintage numbers.

That would require the data to be searchable first…
