Hi All, can somebody tell me where to find a list of all symbols used on Numista website, like one green tick and 2 green ticks? It happens that in coins I own some show 1 tick and the other has 2 ticks, tnks [Risolto]

Never mind, found it but it makes no sense to me when some coins of the same series, let us say Barcelona Olympics, Spain, proof, some coins I own, I have with 2 ticks and others with one tick. Within the same coin series, all coins I own should be the same. one green tick or 2.

What's the meaning of the icons on a coin page?

Can you give an example (screen print)?
Tnks!

For the ones with one green check you have the "proof" but not the non-proof coin so you do not have all the coins on those pages. For the ones with two green checks you have the proof which is the only coin on those pages (there is no non-proof coin line for them).
Thank you rsirian1, now it makes sense, I did not know it includes the non proof coins of the same series. Members still have to insert the non proof versions of the ones missing on Numista. I shall try and do my bit. Tnks again.

I do find that system really strange? Why has it been made?

If in the same type, you have many years and some years include a proof coin, then how many green checks do you get?

You need to have a coin entered on all "year" lines to get 2 green checks.
So:

One type without Proof and 5 year lines, will give two checks if you have a coin for each year line, otherwise only one.

One type with Proof and 5 year lines, will give two checks if you have a coin, including the proof, for each year line, otherwise only one.

Summed up:

if you have all the year lines for a given coin type filled in, then two checks, otherwise only one?

I would have preferred to see the two checks for a complete type (which should only include the circulation coins). How can an Australian collector ever get 2 checks with all their different year lines?

Yep. That pretty much sums it up. I'm not defending the system, just pointing out the facts. Since I collect by type and not years, I'm more interested in seeing one green check when doing a search or swap.
I collect by year, mint and variants, but not Proof or other not circulation mentions, but that's not really important, as long as we like our hobby and can talk frindly together:)
