Only comment I have is you used 'Normal' and 'Widely spaced' but the year lines use 'normal' and 'broad'. Doesn't matter which terms are used but the same terms should be used in the graphic and year lines. 'Widely spaced' seems more descriptive to me.
What is widely spaced/broad, is it the 3 itself or the date as a whole? I don't see any difference in the 3 so I guess the whole date is meant. In that case "widely spaced 3" and "normal 3" are confusing and should be replaced by "widely spaced date" an"normal date" (or "broad date"/"normal date" to use the same term in the documentation as in the year lines).
and the year lines have to be modified! What about introducing the two different fractions in the year lines instead of normal and spaced date, I know that wouldn't correspond to the Red Book, but we have the option?
The Red Book uses the term "Widely Spaced 3" and nothing for the "normal". Not knowing anything else (which is true in this case) I would interpret that to mean that the 3 in the date is spaced far from the other numbers in the date, not that the 3 itself was different. SCWC, PCGS and NGC don't mention this variant so no help there. I would vote for "widely spaced date" and "normal date" and let the graphic show the differences. I wouldn't add the fractions to the date lines to keep it similar to the Red Book and becoming too cluttered.
I agree on that. In the end of the km33 series, we'll have to talk about the year lines, so let's keep those in mind. I'll only make one change request for the full km33; it's easier for me and the referee, I think.

Agree. Save year line changes until end. I'll keep track.
