In my opinion, the numist catalog is one of the most complete in Mexico and the world, and even though I am dedicated to researching tests and patterns in Mexico, I care a lot about national numismatics in general. And as in another year I feel that these changes in the section of Mexico is something important.

requesting the modification of a coin in the catalogue.

Coin Names

There are many coins with names that are very confusing and I propose new names for the copies

1/16 Real - Carlos III (Pattern, Brass) 1768 and 1/16 Real - Carlos III (Pattern, Copper) 1768

These Patterns have an incorrect name. since the Mint of Mexico itself names them: 1/16 De Real Carlos III Mo Pattern Of Copper 1768 and 1/16 Of Real Carlos III Mo Test Of Brass 1768.

1/4 Real (Pattern) 1828.

This name is not correct, because historically speaking it would be: 1/4 Of Real Gorrito De Guanajuato Test 1828.

¼ Real "Quarto / Quartilla" (Pattern) 1836.

This is a coin that causes a lot of confusion when looking for it, since if one does not realize the pattern word, it can be quite confusing. I propose that it be changed to: 1/4 Of Real Hat- Sheet Test 1838.

20 Centavos (Pattern Strike, CuNi) 1980 and 20 Centavos (Strike Pattern, Brass) 1980.

This coin is yes or yes in the collections of coins of the Mexicans. And even this is one of my favorite coins that is why I propose the name change: 20 Cents Olmec Head-Olmec Culture Brass Pattern 1980 and 20 Cents Olmac Head-Olmec Culture Cuproniquel Proof 1980.

50 Centavos (Pattern Strike) 1907.

Without words, a very important test for Mexican history, but the name is incorrect, I think the name change to: 50 Cents Wheelie Grade Proof 1907.

requesting the creation or the modification of a country in the catalogue.

I have many standard coins that need to be in the catalog, I leave you the most important.

1 Peso Morelos Sin Fecha ¿1985?.

This coin is one of the most mysterious in the history of Mexican proofs, since it is not known in what year it was minted. This coin has the PL classification. That is used in proofs of the Mexican currency of the twentieth century.
.

1 Onza Troy De Plata Minero-Camello 1951.

It belongs to a series of tests in Mexico. a copy of these, than that of the elephant.

.

1 Peso Morelos Cacheton 1936.

This coin is a very important specimen in the history of the Mexican economy.

10 Centavos Allende 1970.

Belonging to the numismatic collection of the Bank of Mexico, this coin is important in the Mexican economy. They exist in two materials, brass and copper.

Liberty ounce Test and Pattern family

The Libertad family has been minted since 1981 but I feel that the proofs of these are important.

During the early devaluation of 1992 they began to be minted in 1981, this to enter the market for investment gold coins. The famous "Gold Bullion", this because of the rise in the price of gold since an ounce of gold was at 30 dollars in the 80 '.

There were two plans, the Coyolxauhtli ounce and the Libertad family, in the end the Coyolxauhtli ounce was discarded and finally it was decided to mint the Libertad ounces. They were planned in three materials in gold, silver and platinum, unfortunately they were only minted in silver and gold since the platinum ones were discarded because of how expensive it would be to mint them and they were only coins for the rainbow thirst of 1981.

but there are tests or patterns of other materials that should be added to understand the history of ounces. next I leave a table with the proof coins minted.

1 Nueva Onza Libertad De Oro En Plata 1981

1/4 De Nueva Onza De Oro En Cospel De Cobre 1981

1 Nueva Onza Livertad De Oro Prueba De Laton 1981

1/2 Nueva Onza Livertad De Oro Prueba De Laton 1981

1 Nueva Onza Libertad De Plata Terminado Satín (Reverso Incompleto) 1982

1 Nueva Onza Libertad De Plata Terminado Espejo (Reverso Completo) 1982

1 Nueva Onza Livertad De Oro Grado Proof 1982

1/4 De Nueba Onza Libertad Grado Proof Prueba 1983

1/2 De Nueva Onza Libertad Grado Proof Prueba 1983

1 De Nueva Onza Libertad Grado Proof Prueba 1983

1 De Nueva Onza Livertad De Oro En Cospel De Plata 1990

1/20 De Nueva Onza Libertad De Oro Libertad Prueba 1990

1/20 De Nueva Onza Libertad De Plata Libertad Prueba 1990

1/10 De Nueva Onza Libertad De Oro Libertad Prueba 1990

1/10 De Nueva Onza Libertad De Plata Libertad Prueba 1990

1 Peso Caballito Patrón De Fecha Incompleta-Sin Escudo Nacional 19 (1911)

This coin has an interesting history, destined for the process and experimentation of the new denomination of caballito pesos in the year 1911. I feel that this coin should be in the catalog to demonstrate the work behind a Mexican coin.

Las Onzas Troy De 78'

In 1978 troy ounces are put up for sale again after 29' years of their first appearance in 1949 and there is evidence of their attempts to return in 1951, it was tried that the new ounces were different from the 49', as It was experimented in the 50's. Of these copies there are 5 and their designs are different even though the last three are somewhat similar.

Please someone who can help me with the images so they don't go wrong to add them please.
Hello

Thank you for the great summary.

However, I will just close this ticket because it is not really a request to add a mint to the database. This flag is dedicated specifically to changes or additions to this list:
https://en.numista.com/numisdoc/articles/mints.php

If you want to modify an existing coin or add a missing one, please use the dedicated forms. I see you've already made some edits, so I assume you already know how to do this.

But please note that Numista has some formatting guidelines:

and at a glance, what you propose is not really consistent, so I suggest reviewing the guidelines first before proceeding with edits.

Best regards
