For some reason, we have split up the second Polish złoty into two parts, “Second złoty (1924-1949)” and “Second złoty (1924-1949) German Occupation WW II”. Since there was no currency reform, can these plese be merged into a single currency? The issues from during the occupation can be separated by the ruling authority.

To make the statement in the topic stronger, I reviewed the relevant listings and it appears the issues from occupation are all currently identified by the ruling authority. I believe no other edits are required when the currency merge occurs.

That's true for the coins but most of the notes will need it adding (not that that's very many).
