Hello,

I suggest the dynasties are added to the Kingdom of Macedonia. Also, some Wikidata IDs are missing and some minor spelling amendments are suggested below in bold:

Argead dynasty

Alexander I (498 BC - 454 BC) → Alexander I Philhellene
Perdikkas II (454 BC - 413 BC) → Perdiccas II
Aeropos II (396 BC - 393 BC) → Aeropus II  + Q346476
Amyntas III (392 BC - 370 BC)
Philip II (359 BC - 336 BC) + Q130650
Alexander III (336 BC - 323 BC) → Alexander III the Great + Q8409
Philip III Arrhidaios (323 BC - 321 BC) → Philip III Arrhidaeus
Antipatros (321 BC - 319 BC) → Antipater

Kassander (319 BC - 297 BC) → Cassander + Q207183

Antigonid Empire or Antigonid dynasty

Antigonos I Monophthalmos (319 BC - 310 BC) → Antigonus I Monophthalmus

Demetrios I Poliorcetes (294 BC - 288 BC) → Demetrius I Poliorcetes + Q59734

Antigonos II Gonatas (277 BC - 239 BC) → Antigonus II Gonatas
Demetrios II (239 BC - 229 BC) → Demetrius II Aetolicus + Q313847
Antigonos III Doson (229 BC - 222 BC) → Antigonus III Doson + Q108816
Philip V (221 BC - 179 BC) + Q237248

Perseus (179 BC - 168 BC) + Q207363

Ptolemaic dynasty

Ptolemeos Keravnos (281 BC - 279 BC) → Ptolemy Ceraunus + Q299387

The renaming is for consistency with other Numista entries, (for example Ptolemy vs. Ptolemeos) and to follow the usual naming in English as stated in the guidelines. Currently, it is a mix of romanizations (e.g. Kassander, not Cassander as it is in English) and English names (e.g. Alexander, not the romanization Aléxandros)

Thank you

Mostly done in the 3 languages, with corrections of Wikidata and a couple dates.

Some Nomisma ID still needs to be added.

Sapientiae plerumque stultitia est comes.
Si c'est un grand plaisir d'être reconnu par ses amis, c'est peut-être encore plus flatteur d'être reconnu par ses adversaires.
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.

May I ask why you chose to make these changes? What source is Numista following?

For example, you've changed Ptolemaic dynasty to Lagid dynasty. This is a very obscure option:

- Lorber uses “Ptolemaic”

- we have Ptolemaic coins online, not Lagid coins online

- Coin archives retrieve 12 286 hits for “ptolemaic” and 112 for “lagid” (most in French auctions)

- Ngrams shows a roughly 100:1 use in favour of Ptolemaic vs Lagid dynasty

- Numista already uses “Ptolemaic” kingdom

- Wikipedia, Wikidata, and Britannica, all have articles titled Ptolemaic, not Lagid dynasty

Thank you for double checking the request, and I am sure there are probably accidental mistakes. But I would appreciate if there is some more transparent feedback on these implementations, otherwise it seems that they are rather arbitrary.

Are there still some needs here or should we close the thread?
