Icons to show read/unread sent messages

I see that the little envelope icon has disappeared from the Sent Messages folder - it used to be dark blue if the message was still unread, and light blue once it had been opened.  Is this option/ability not worth having anymore?  I think it is!

Still there but in different form.  Unread messages are in bold type, read not bold type.

The bad part about this new format change is that you can no longer read a message from someone and conceal the fact the you have read it.  Previously you could look at the “following” messages in a conversation without them being marked as “read”.  Now, it marks them all "read" when you do that.

There are some extremely needy people in this day and age, and if they see you've read their message, they demand immediate feedback, as if Numista were the only thing on earth that matters.

As mentioned by rsirian1, you can still tell whether a message was read or not. Unread messages are shown in bold font.
