Sharing “my coins” (all) data set

Perhaps a newbie question—
I exported my data to my email address as an attachment. The transmission was clean with no problems. I then forward the email and attachment to colleague . He has his own currently empty Numista coins site. When he clicks on my link apparently it takes him to his site rather than to my coin data.

Is export directly to his email allowed and possible? If so, problem solved.

Alternatively,  how can I transfer the dataset or at least give him access.?

if transfer of our own data is allowed but not supported, is that a policy issue or a matter  which would require a software tweak?

Go to “My coins” (in the main menu) and click the “Export my coins” link at the bottom (same for “My banknotes” and “My exonumia”).

You export an Excel file so you have to open it with a spreadsheet editor. There are all your coins listed and also hyperlinks on this spreadsheet but they only link to the corresponding catalog page not your own. Or I am misunderstanding the issue.

Thank you. I followed your advice and after exporting the file to my email address I am able able to access  the file and use the links. In order to send a copy of the excel spreadsheet with my data and with links, what are the steps? 
When a third party received my email forwarding the file and links, he attempted access but, it opened to his Numista data set (brand new and empty  of data) rather than mine. Is it possible to forward a current file/data set directly from the Numista site? Alternatively, what would the steps be under  this scenario?

Did you export your collection to your disk? (from Numista you can download an Excel or CSV file to your disk, you can not send emails)

Do you can open and see correctly the Excel file with your coins?

When you send the email to somebody, attach the file to the email.

Interesting. I did not know we could not email directly. I wonder whether this is a security  safeguard.
