The Holy Frères engraving workshop was founded in St-Imier in 1893 by François (1867-?) and Jules (1872-1950) Holy, both natives of St-Imier. In the beginning, the company focused on decorating watch cases, before diversifying into the manufacture of medals and prints. In 1920, they moved the business to Geneva, where they had a branch, before going bankrupt a year later.

L'atelier de gravure Holy Frères a été fondé en 1893 à St-Imier par François (1867-?) et Jules (1872-1950) Holy, tous deux natifs de St-Imier. À ses débuts, l'entreprise se consacrait à la décoration de boîtiers de montres avant de se diversifier dans la fabrication de médailles et d'estampes. En 1920, ils déplacent l'entreprise à Genève où ils possédaient une succursale, avant de faire faillite un an plus tard.
