Buying Value (USD)

Could you explain what this field is supposed to represent and where it is reflected in reporting?

This is where you enter the price you paid for the coin (if you want).  

The sum of the values you entered is reflected on the My coins page:

It also, along with the values entered by every other member, is part of what generates the values on the coin page:

Thanks, you so much, got it.  I will be sure to update the field so folks can see the purchase price.  I have not been using that field much. One of these days maybe we can figure a more systematic (automated way to update prices) based on greysheet, ebay, othe auctions, etc.  I would pay extra for that, not sure who else would.

Auctions are already included. The others you mention may be too.
