Move Sonargaon Sultanate under Bangladesh

Sonargaon Sultanate is part of Modern day Bangladesh. It should be moved under Bangladesh as a sub issuer.

Sonargaon Sultanate is part of Modern day Bangladesh. It should be moved under Bangladesh as a sub issuer.

It was a Bengali Muslim state, and though geographically aligned with large parts of modern Bangladesh, it was not a forebearer or successor state to a “Bangladesh” (which did not exist until 1971. It is thus under Indian Sultanates. 

Geographically, Bengal Delta region is a distinguished part in South Asia. The word ‘Bangalah' used since 1352 AD. The bengal Sultanate comprises modern day Bangladesh and part of west bengal, india. Historically, both Bengal Sultanate and Sonargaon should be under Bangladesh. In Bengali language 'Desh' means country or state. 

During Bengal Sultanate period, except the Capital, most of the important cities are situated in Bangladesh now.

As far as i know, the current numista has the pre-1947 indian territories under indian kingdom/sultanates. That consists of modern day india, Pakistan and Bangladesh.  They were all represented under “India” in all major coin catalogs.
