The Varendra Kingdom was an Indian Bengali Kingdom situated in what is today West Bengal, Bihar, Bangladesh, and surrounding regions. They came about from a peasant and low nobility revolt against the Pala Empire, and were successful in establishing themselves afterwards. We do not have them in our catalogue, and there are several coins of them that I can add, thus I believe it would be good to add, Sujit agrees. Here are some of their coins coming up for auction soon: https://www.coinarchives.com/w/results.php?search=Varendra&s=0&upcoming=0&results=100. This can be in Indian states (as the Pala Empire is also there) or Ancient India (As the coinage resembles Gutpa and Samatata coins).
Just wondering if we can also have a currency added to the Varendra Kingdom? At present, there is no attribution and preferably the same currency as that which corresponds to the Gupta Dynasty, as is the case for most of the Post-Gupta States, would be good to add.
