Creation of the City of Eibelshausen [Risolto]

Eibelshausen is the largest of the six districts of the municipality of Eschenburg in the Lahn-Dill district of central Hesse. The town serves as the central hub of the central Dietzhölztal valley, is the administrative seat of the municipality of Eschenburg, and is home to the secondary and middle schools with a grammar school branch.
On October 1, 1971, the previously independent municipality of Eibelshausen voluntarily merged with the neighboring villages of Eiershausen and Wissenbach to form the municipality of Eschenburg as part of the regional reform in Hesse.
