The "Uniting of the Germanys"

Hi!
I've been wondering and a little grumpy about a thing lately, and that is the uniting of the German Empire and Nazi Germany (Third Reich) (and even Weimar Republic). These are now called "Germany 1871-1948" with all three flags swapping around. Earlier they had their own category, but then, all of a sudden, got united. I reckon this is wrong, cause then The DDR (East Germany) should be included there too, since it's also a form of Germany.

It would be interesting to hear the argument for the uniting of the three Germanys. I, though, speak for a separation where The Empire, Third Reich and Weimar have their own category with their own flags.

My thoughts exactly, but that also goes for the Notgeld (1916-1923) era also ...  !!!!

Maybe also create a category for the Austro-Hungarian Empire?

But I do realize that it could be too much to ask to let the Kingdom of Hungary have its own category?
