Are you sure this is a genuine coin?

No, I am not sure  :snif: Does it look suspicious ?
There are quite a few types of those coins.

Hi André,

No worries, it looks genuine, and it is KM 175, you can proudly add it!  :D
The picture on the Numista page (actually my coin ;) ) is a different variation, which Krause does not properly differentiate, the lettering is split differently, and the KB mintmark is positioned differently.

Ben's suspition is valid though, as it seems more of  billon than silver.
The reason for that is not that it is fake, but that good old Lipót has inflated his own currency to finance the war with the Türks, so decreased the silver content significantly, plus they needed to produce dies hastily, hence the many variations of coins. - ... and the guy, as you obviously know, was really the ugliest Monarch in World history  :wiz:
It is a great piece of history, André ;)
I'm glad it is genuine. I had my doubts about it.

Well, do not take me for the ultimate expert, but I would give it 99% chance!
:D
OK, thanks very much.
Coins added !
Cheers,
André
