Thanks bialy32 and welcome to the forum. I'm sure people who collect banknotes already know and likely use the site you mention. My original suggestion though was about simple refinement of this forum. 
Seems like people mostly agree. Now it is just Xavier's decision to do so (or not).

Also, creating a new Numista version for banknotes means a lot more of work. I'd love to have Numista Banknotes but we all know that's not gonna happen in a near future.

I am a member of colenct, but Numista is much better in terms of organization and site navigation, that I would much prefer to have my banknote collection here. It would also keep me from having to go back and forward between two sites.
It's the cataloguing of Numista that is appealing. It's user-friendly, easy to get browse around, clear pitures with great info.
A dream would be to see Numista banknotes. It would look exactly as it does now, just that it's about banknotes. Aahh sweet dreams.s...

Today I finally got the last piece to complete my Zimbabwe series! After a month on the road the 500 dollar note finally arrived!
The first note I got could I track to October 2011, and thar was the 20 trillion dollar note, for £4.99 incl. shipping. But I'm pretty sure I got the 10, 50 and 100 trillion dollars before that. But we're most likely still talking 2011. So after 5-6 years of collecting, it's finally complete! the 2007/2008 series, which goes from $1 to $100 trillion!

if you're waiting for xavier to answer a request, you will have to wait until your hair turns grey and begins to fall off..i've been sending him a simple request in the end of december, and then re-sent it to him like 5 times since..he has read them, but no answer..guess he's too busy with the new twitter account or something..

I think this is a great idea though. I don't really collect banknotes myself but I'd love a place where I can go to learn more about them, or even join the discussion.
