Kingdoms of Bavaria, Hanover, Prussia, Saxony-Albertine, Westphalia and Wurttemberg [Risolto]

I am fairly new to this group and I was wondering why the former kingdoms of Bavaria, Hanover, Prussia, Saxony-Albertine, Westphalia and Wurttemberg are not counted as countries but instead are counted as German states. Why is Bohemia listed as a separate country?

The amalgamated entries for German States (and Italian States and others) is a custom adopted from traditional catalogs.
