Hello!
I requested permission to use official images of the tokens of the St. Petersburg metropolitan from the site http://www.metro.spb.ru/jetony.html.
I received a response from the press secretary of the St. Petersburg metropolitan. The answer is positive.
Thus, I propose to add this site (http://www.metro.spb.ru) in list of sites that gave permission to use the images (https://en.numista.com/info.php).

Good afternoon.
The use of images of metro tokens is possible, when specifying links.
Don't get too excited here things moves extremely slow. I've got a positive answer from National Bank of Romania long time ago and none moved a finger to include the website on the list even if I made many requests. Sometimes I think about if the users should still come with good ideas to improve this website or the effort is in vain as long administration is absent or mute. Frustration, frustration, frustration.
It all stands on Xavier. Florino already reported this new site on Referee forum. So when Xavier returns, I hope he will deal with this. And all other stuff that needs his time.
I do agree there are not enough high admins who can make decisions like this, it seems it is the members doing all the work but the owner/highest admins are benefiting from that without doing much in response.

I am afraid we entered another limbo.... Without Xavier making needed changes and nominating several new people as referees, I can only lose my fight agains evergrowing number of requests. You might noticed that I did not do another openess thread. Well, simply because I cannot hardly sit here all day long, managing several community projects and do requests, verifications, look for new people, adding new coins and modify the old ones and manage my own collecting at once.
To put it simply, without new people going to help (Xavier nominating them!) or old team waking up I end up overloaded... and frustrated and kind of not very willing to do any more. Yep, there are good and nice people I enjoy working with, but there are also referees that do not even know the countries they manage, do not know the languange, and most importantly, do NOT know how to manage the catalogue, so I have to step in.
Maybe they just forgotten, that referee should not sit on his butt and look here once in a month, if he has any work to do and then validate (sometimes even without looking at what he is validating)... but rather IMPROVE ACTIVELLY the countries he was nominated to manage....
Ugh, I was mean. Time to sleep.
EDIT: 415 Requests for Team and 1527 requests for referees.
PS: We still need somebody who could handle Afghanistan, Somalia, Liberia and few others.
Jarcek,
What does it take to be a referee? How much does one need to know about what? Are expensive reference books needed? What kind of powe-uh, responsibilities does a referee have? Etc...
What does it take - Xavier have authority to nominate.
You have to fulfill several conditions:
1.Be interested in the country you ask for + know the language of it.
2.Seriously want to help and improve the site.
3.Have some experience with catalogue modifications.
4.Have access to knowlegde sources - internet ones and catalogues.
Expensive reference books - well you can always downloa.. *cough* buy Krause on the internet.
And responsibilities -you can modify country you have without additional validation. You are responsible for its well-being, for making it better and of course, requests for that country goes directly to you. If referee does not react for a week, catalogue administrators can access their requests too. And you have access to referee forum.

I've honestly stopped bothering submitting coins to several countries, because instead of accepting them and then improving them later, the referee just expects the submitter to add every detail. No idea if this is how it should be or not, but it seems counter-intuitive. There's some referees who do amazing work, others who just sit on their ass hitting accept or reject.
If referees don't help users, users won't help referees.
It's the same with you and Xavier, if he helps you less, you lose motivation to want to help him so much.
I could handle South Africa: Boer Republics no problem.
You seem to be very busy at the moment and I might have a fraction more free time soon so I applied to Xavier to take care of Liberia.

Oh, darn. My Farsi's a touch on the rusty side (i could only ever really read, anyway...) I could help in German, Dutch or Thai speaking countries, though
lingawakad - I believe most German and Dutch will be already taken, but if you are into that part of Asia - Cambodia and Laos are still without referee. Just get handy in modifying catalogue little more, add few coins and then I believe you can easily apply.
And finally: Hi Dmitry! Welcome to Numista!
You can find (partial) answer here: https://en.numista.com/team.php Here you can find all the referee with their respective countries. I see you already modified two coins. Help us, get handy in modifying, be active member, get some good feedback, and when you will be known as valuable community member, then you can be entrusted with some position. Everyone of us walked that path the same way.
Thanks, Jarcek! Aha, so now I know who is responsible for approving my modifications (additions) of new coins, if they are Canadian - that's eminem, okay :)
I will gladly keep adding more coins, mostly Canadian and Niue , but I was also wondering about using the images from Canadian Mint website (mint.ca), as it is not explicitly listed as the one, which gave an approval to use its images on Numista. I was also wondering how long does it take for reviewers to approve or reject new coins submitted, as I haven't heard back anything on those two I submitted. I now think that the response time can really vary...
