I think two accounts should be allowed by default to list your private collection etc as it's very useful, as long as the following rules are observed:
1) The second account may not be used to circumvent a ban on the first
2) The second account may not be used for swaps, or to leave or receive any sort of feedback
3) You must use your main account for most forum posts
4) You must use the same email address for your second account
5) You must have a link to your 2nd account on your main account, and to your main account on your second account so it is obvious to all it is the same person
6) You may not maintain any sort of swaplist on the 2nd account, and 'I don't want to swap' must be ticked in settings.
7) You cannot use the 2nd account to vote in any suggestion, or in the MPCC.

We cannot let people play double games:
1. Exchanging fraudulent feedback.
2. They are usually associated with some type of scam.
3. People who have destroyed their reputation / credibility will create new accounts to escape the consequences.
Oh, I could go on but you get the drift. I know that you've been above board and are trying to use it for a legitimate reason but it's a slippery slope and any concession granted for good reasons will sure be exploited by the problem children.

Sorry Oggy, I have to agree with Phil. I don't believe that you are try to do anything evil, but others would exploit this feature.
I think there is no need to have two accounts as you can always press a couple of buttons and make your collection disappear from public eyes, also your swap list and even more you can make everyone aware you are not up for swaps at the moment, while keeping your trustful information such as how much you have contributed to the catalog, how much you have post around (since when you are part of this website) and many other information which I normally use to analyze my swap partner...
Good luck with your proposal, but I don't see it very useful at the moment.
I agree with a few folks above - don't like this. I'd rather see some improvements to the site to help you deal with the problem you're trying to solve oggy. Too many loopholes will get opened otherwise.
