I was cursorily looking over my bi metallic coins and I was surprised to discover that the UK 2 pounds were not there. Looking at a description of a two pound coin on its page , I note it's not described as bi-metallic which explains the omission.
This puzzles me as ; I thought they were bi metallic and indeed uk was in the forefront of introducing bi metallic coins into their general coinage.
I am sure there is a reason and someone here will tell me. Thanks
They are bi-metallic, but I think they're just not listed as such, so they won't get picked up on a search.
Might just be an oversight I think.

I'm not an expert in any kind of coins, but I reckon I'm good at research and will do my best to help. Feel free to tell me my identifications/valuations/gradings are wrong. It's the only way I'll learn.

I thought so... I wonder if this thread will be enough to get catalogue changed or will I need to put this on right forum .
While usually changes for UK are swift, as we have two referees there, I believe one of them is on vacation now and second one is pretty busy these days. But they will get to it once they are back.
Had a spare half hour, so I've added "Bi-Metallic" to the metal description for them, and the referee has already approved most of the changes (thank you), so hopefully they should come up in your searches.
