Search for KM and other numbers in Chinese coins?

HI all -
I am logging a collection of Chinese coins which have ID's on their packages. However, in the catalog, the Chinese are assigned many numbers, but searches by KM# do not pull any results, even on the many coins that show the KM# ( and other catalog references) listed as an alternate in the comments by each coin. How do I search that field that has those alternate #'s. If there is no way to do, then I'd like to make the suggestion that one is made!
