Liberia $5 U.S. Presidents series of 2000 with KM #'s

I believe this topic has been raised before but I cannot find it through the forum search tool. Liberia issued a long series of $5 copper-nickel coins for U.S. Presidents in 2000. These are currently listed on Numista in Exonumia, Fantasy issues, Liberia with X #'s (ranging from 17 to 63) from Unusual World Coins. However they are listed with regular KM #'s (ranging from 836 to 950) in the 2017 Standard Catalog of World Coins (on CD) 1901-2000, 2017, 44th ed. p. 1409, which is newer than Unusual World Coins. I think these coins should not be considered fantasy coins any longer even if they may be non circulating legal tender, and they should be shifted to the regular Liberia listing.

I am not sure what was the ruling before. But it was handled differently by different Standard Catalog of World Coins year issues. If they are in 2017 book as coins, they should be most probably moved.

Yes, 2017 1901-2000 lists them with KM#s under Liberia.

At one time the common understanding was if it did not have the arms of Liberia that they were illegitimate issues with no official permission from a government involved in civil war..

Could we also move the Turkish issues with KM numbers back?

The turkish 1000000 bimetal lire is also in the 2017 catalog.
