it's true you have a variety with "large" and one with "small" ciphers! But if you DO NOT have the two coins next to each other, and even then it's difficult to see, you hardly can distinguish between them. In my documentation you can, but only because I made high resolution images and from them macro images! Thanks to the possibilities of powerpoint I was able to show the differences and that they DO EXIST.
I'm fairly sure, that most of the people having that year might have put it (them) in the wrong line (s)!
I would suggest to add the two lines and just give a remark: Date size varieties exist
