Descrizione

Coinage of Hungary 1993 decorative BU forint circulation set. Issued and distributed by the Magyar-Osztrák Kereskedelmi Rt. (WIMNB). The fillér coins are brilliant uncirculated (BU). This multi-page version was the first decorative packaged set, produced in 3,000 pieces. However, since Germans eagerly bought up the coins, the distributor at the time, WIMNB, realized there wouldn’t be enough for the decorative packaged sets. As a cost-saving measure, they introduced a single-page version, which, according to the manufacturer, was produced in approximately 2,000–3,000 pieces.
