I just searched "brexit" in our catalogue and found it at the end of the page... :°

This coin would be considered a token or exonumia because it was never put into circulation. Plus, I'm 99% sure that all circulating 50p coins (including commemorative 50p coins) have the face value on them.

Looks like a commemorative medal mimicking a 50 Pence - commemorating the majority 'Leave' vote in the 2016 Referendum.

The real Brexit 50 Pence has an inscription commemorating the formal withdrawal of the U.K. out of the 'E.U.' - & the date - 31 January 2020.

I wish I had one in my collection here in New Zealand - as I am a pro-British Commonwealth supporter of restoring ties between New Zealand & the U.K. as a result of Brexit finally happening - 1 hour before the Maldives finally came back home to the Commonwealth!
