Hello everyone. Recently I noticed that the Kosovo section had only the 10 dinarë banknote in the catalogue. Hence I added up the rest but the problem is I don't own any of the banknotes and so no scans. But the information is complete as per The Banknote Book details. Will these be approved? Wanted to directly question the referee but cannot find them anywhere.
Hello!

There is not yet a referee for Kosovo, hence why you could not find anyone, and pictures are not a requirement, so there is no problem there. Your requests have been approved. :)

Thank you so much. Cheers 😊
I didn't know there were a Kosovo section. I have full set to add.

Just wondering if these belong in the main banknote section.

If the comment section is correct, these seem to belong in the exonumia section …

Privately produced by American banknote dealer Joe Lang specifically for the collector's market, with 10% of the profits going to the International Red Cross and Red Crescent to help with relief efforts in Kosovo. The horizontal black overprint - Pristinë, 1 prill 1999 - at upper left front is in Albanian, and indicates that the notes were to be issued in Pristina, the capital and largest city of Kosovo on April 1, 1999.

Opinions welcome … but that would mean 1 country less to complete my 200 country list ;-)

No new swaps for the moment, still too many half-ongoing swaps to clean up!

Definitely exonumia for me. Sorry about your 200.

Where to? Fantasy currency sounds more logical than souvenir notes.

And some day I will get to 200 anyway … it only just got 1 country harder (unless Kosovo does finally decide to issue currency …)

If they were fund raisers then they're a bit more serious than fantasy but I'm not sure we have a good category at the moment.

Fantasy notes with an (alleged) cause … though I don't think that the destination of the proceeds should matter too much when deciding on the location of the notes.

Unless anyone else still chimes in, I'll edit them later this week.
