Legal tender in

Hi,

I had a little discussion in the numista coin catalogue section, about the 1/3 farthing which were legal tender in Malta and have never been legal tender in UK.

I came up with the following addition today, maybe its an option, this can also be done with Euro coins by saying: Legal tender in EU. By used in coins.

Another reason why: The Netherlands minted money abroad money during the war for the colonies. The coins were legal tender abroad but also in NL, so there could be added also used in, or also legal tender in or only used in. Because some collectors see the dutch coins which were minted for Suriname as Suriname coins, or the 1/3 farthing where the discion was about as a Maltese coin.

I don't think this is a common enough problem to deserve an infobox change. "Used in" details are adequately documented in the Comments section of the coin's page.

Euro coins from 1 Euro-Cent to 2 Euros are legal tender in the European Monetary Union area (Euro Zone), not the E.U., as there are E.U. member states that still have their own currencies.

Why should it be considered as a problem in order to be tackled with? I would say that every such exception naturally requires additional fine tuning, of course in a way, that does not complicate other stuff. Comments box should be used for general comments and not describing some specialties in structure/use/relation/and similar.
