There are many different methods of storing our collections.
From loose, paper envelopes, plastic envelopes, album pages with envelopes, card flips (self adhesive or stapled), Quadrum cases, linder style trays, capsules, Mint sets in sealed pack/trays.

It would be very useful for me to be able to list this in a field on the page.
I know I can make a "Private comment", and I tend to use this as an extra comment on the condition of the coin - holed, dented, corrosion, etc.

To have a separate field where I could record this, and then search on the Excel exported list.

Would anyone else find this useful?
Yes, I like this
They say "Pecunia non olet", but I know better...
Shouldn't the condition be in the public comment so if you ever would want to swap other people can see the comments?

..possibly, but the majority of my collection isn't for swapping/trading. I would make that clear if this was going to happen. There may be a personnel comment like "From grannie's house"..

Hello,

This was implemented. You can now activate the optional field “storage location” in your account settings. The field is available in the Excel export.

Many thanks Xavier, this will be useful for me, I hope other users find it useful too. Just using it for “Museum” type records, it will help identify where the item is stored, at what stage of "archival" storage it's at, or whether out on loan or moved somewhere else..
