MPCC 2021 and asking feedback on MPCC 2020 [Risolto]

2021 is already comming near.

Is anyone interested in running the 2021 edition? I wll be moving to a new house and Im not sure I will have enough time to run it in 2021.

What are thoughts on this years version and what can be change and improve?

In General I tried to leave rounds up for 4 days (On occasions where I was too busy it was sometimes slightly longer). Was the duration of the rounds or of the whole MPCC too long / too short for you?

What about the different categories which we had this year? Did you like them, was there something too much, something missing?

I am looking forward to hear some comments on MPCC.

Hi Paul,
You have set very high standards with running the MPCC. Managing a job and this contest is not easy.
A chance to look at lovely coins and then voting for them - something that I am looking forward to.
I am sure there will be useful suggestions.

Managing the MPCC and your new home simultaneously will stress you out. Even though I do want MPCC 2021 to take place, it is very tough. It is better to delay it until Late November- Mid December and finish it off quickly in a couple of weeks Rather than doing it for a few months. Hopefully , it can get executed during that time

​Most likely it will happen next year and most likely to be more interesting because in 2022 it would be Numista’s 15th anniversary.

Shame there’s not going to be an MPCC this year… I wanted to submit some of my own coins.

I moved house early this year but with my job and kids time is still scarse. If I start to plan in the MPCC I guess I would need at least a French speaking colleague helping me with taking care for the games on the french side.
sorry that it did not take place. I was hoping for someone else to take care of it this year.
it does take a lot of time and it is also important to do it in a stable timeframe. (Rounds sometimes taking 2 sometimes 10 days dis not prove something good in the past )

If we can find someone ready to support on the French side then I believe I might be able to do it starting in Early 2022

Basic rules and Categories will have to be defined soon so that will leave a bit of time for everyone to then choose which of their coins/token/medal/banknotes they would like to take part with.
