What is the coin real date?

Who can help me? I got an ethiopian coin and saler said to me, that 1977 mint. Others have said that 1977 mint. But I’m uncertain. I was looking for amharic numbers and I found a description of characters and It seems that my coin in Ethiopian time 2000 (EE), 2008 in the Gregorian calendar.
What is the truth?

Looking at amharic numerals, I found out that the 5 cent on Numista actually reads 1999 https://fr.numista.com/catalogue/pieces4760.html.

Then, I read on http://www.wbcc.fsnet.co.uk/af-eth3.htm that there are several KM# for the 5 cents. Still, I couldn't find more on these KM. Could anybody help?

Based on the above I thought that date is 2000. However I wrote, others have said that 1977 mint. What is the truth? Still I don’t know.

Well, I found the answer to my question. I found this  in Worldcoins.ch site.
The date is the same character as my coins.

Pity. I just collected of the Cold War’s years.
