1,956 new users joined Numista in December 2020, increasing the total member tally by 1.3%.

In comparison, Numista added 1,751 new members in December 2019 and 1,827 new members in December 2018.

This December's new members added 79,000 coins into their collections.

77% of December's new users have not yet entered a coin into their Numista collection. For a long time now, this is the one thing that Numista could most improve on.

1,913 of December's new members selected a nation. 115 nations are represented this month. 397 are American, 226 are French, 163 are Filipino, 137 are Indian, 122 are British, and 85 are Canadian.

43 users from December still have not selected a nation.

There were notable surges in memberships from Algeria, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belarus, Cambodia, and Somalia.

Antigua & Barbuda, Ascension Island, Bahamas, Bahrain, Benin, Curacao, Ethiopia, French Polynesia, Ghana, Guadeloupe, Honduras, Iceland, Ivory Coast, Kosovo, Laos, Libya, Luxembourg, Marshall Islands, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Sri Lanka, Syria, Trinidad & Tobago, Tunisia, and Venezuela each gained one new member.

66% of December's new users belong to one of the Top Ten nations on Numista by user count (USA, France, India, UK, Canada, Belgium, Philippines, Australia, Brazil, South Africa). Bangladesh passed Ukraine for 23rd rank.

Malaysia added their 1,000th member. Barbados, Alderney, and Laos each added their 10th member.

Of the top ten nations, the Philippines grew the fastest in December (5.8% increase), while South Africa grew the slowest (0.8%). The USA grew by 1.5% and France grew by 1.5%.
