New $50 banknotes bearing the signatures of Carolyn Wilkins and Tiff Macklem have been released by the Bank of Canada, starting with the GME prefix.
Galor, can you have a look at my pending requests?
Titus
The same can be said for $5 INE prefix (all have the new Wilkins- Macklem signature combinations)
I've PM'd Galor a while ago, and I've got no response yet. I have a request on a Canadian note pending from 09/30/2020, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see. It's always exciting to see a new signature combination in circulation, and I hope they get added soon. Also, I believe the Wilkins/Macklem $5 is the first note to use prefixes starting in "I" (A, B, C and D are for BA Intl., E, F, G, H and now I for the Canadian Bank Note Company).

The billions of 1973 $1 used prefix "I" (I/A; I/L) I recall as I had an *I/L kicking around somewhere but as far as 3 letter prefix- I believe you're right.

I agree & what makes this even more interesting is that Wilkins is leaving BOC as Deputy Governor so the $5 & $50 should change again soon. I just hope the Wilkins-Macklem combo is on more low denominations ($10 & $20) so that there'll be more change-overs. The $10 are trickling out so super slow (they might skip W-M) but it is more likely we'll see a W-M signature change-over on the $20 (high FZT or FZU).
