Hawaii on world map [Risolto]

I have a simple request: could we add Hawaii to the world map? It feels odd to not include such an integral part of the US.

Shouldn't Hawaii at least be listed as the 'Kingdom of Hawaii' under the United States.

Yes, it should be the Kingdom of Hawai'i and listed as a country, not an issuer, as its current status as a US state is irrelevant to the fact that the coins they made were for use in an independent sovereign kingdom.

In general, the current numista policy it that if a former country is part of a modern day country then the former country is an issuer under the latter.

Under that logic, Puerto Rico and Vieques Island should also be issuers under the US.

The Hawaii issue was brought up years ago.

Looking at the thread I still think that Hawaii, a part of the US, should be highlighted by US coins and banknotes.
