I'll like to suggest, after the other has confirmed the swap, either by mistake or with a mistake in it, if both agree, then they could renegotiate the swap, instead of having to open another swap (if there is a lot of coins in said swap, that's a pain to find them again). So they could just work from the past swap. If that makes sense?

I think it would be quite nice, but I can see the potential troubles with it too.

What do people think about it?

If only one person has confirmed by mistake or with errors, the other one can just turn down the swap and you can resume the negotiations. So no need for new function here.

Of course if you have both sides already confirming with mistakes in the swap, I guess you'll both be more careful next time before confirming :°
Just call me Bram

No new swaps for the moment, still too many half-ongoing swaps to clean up!
Couldn't it be called renegotiate then? Because, in my head at least, to turn something down, means to reject. To me it sounds like the reject to swap..? Maybe just me, as an English as a Second Language person?

I had the same fear the first time I experienced this and thought the whole swap would be lost if I would click on "turn it down". But it wasn't and I could go further without any problem with the ongoing swap. I support you with changing "turn down the swap" into "renegotiate". I think your explanation in the first post was a bit complicated and not everybody understood correctly what you really wanted to say.
Sooo... Should I open a new suggestion about this with a better written form instead? Get a kind of deja-vu about this trouble, haha.

I think renaming the button to "renegotiate" is a good suggestion. I will support it. It is a bit confusing right now for the new members.
Made a new post. Think, I think, it is less confusing, although more wordy.
