2,031 new users joined Numista in February 2021, increasing the total member tally by 1.3%.

In comparison, Numista added 1,827 new members in February 2020 and 1,859 new members in February 2019.

This February's new members added 89,000 coins into their collections.

75% of February's new users have not yet entered a coin into their Numista collection. How can we improve this?

1,992 of February's new members selected a nation. 113 nations are represented this month. 409 are American, 255 are French, 174 are Filipino, 143 are British, and 132 are Indian.

39 users from February still have not selected a nation.

There were notable surges in memberships from Austria, Azerbaijan, Cuba, Czech Republic, Malta, Spain, and Turkey.

Alderney, Andorra, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Botswana, Cape Verde, Cayman Islands, Cyprus, Ecuador, El Salvador, Eswatini, Fiji, Georgian Republic, Ghana, Guatemala, Iceland, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Latvia, Lesotho, Mali, Martinique, Mauritius, Moldova, Montenegro, Namibia, North Macedonia, Oman, Rwanda, Senegal, Thailand, Uganda, Vietnam, Zambia and Zimbabwe each gained one new member.

In the fifteen months since their last new user, Swaziland changed its name to Eswatini.

68% of February's new users belong to one of the Top Ten nations on Numista by user count (USA, France, India, UK, Canada, Belgium, Philippines, Australia, Brazil, South Africa). Romania passed Russia for 15th rank.

Of the top ten nations, the Philippines grew the fastest in February (5.4% increase), while India grew the slowest (1.1%). The USA grew by 1.5% and France grew by 1.2%.

I used the Numista catalogue for almost 8 months before signing up. Started entering coins with a lot of trepidation.
Not sure why....but it did take time.
