Hello all,

I would like to know if it is possible (and how) to add unissued banknotes to the catalog that do not have a Pick number, but are nonetheless historically/numismatically significant. Specifically, I am referring to the Series of 1941: 50, 100 and 500 Pesos from the Philippines, which exist today only as proofs and specimens. Thanks.

Dan
As long as these notes are genuine, even if they weren't issued for circulation, I'd say they have a place. For now, we don't have a category for unissued notes like we do for "non-circulating coins", so perhaps put "Unissued" in the title? The absence of a catalogue number shouldn't be an impediment.

Thank you for your reply. I’ll go ahead and give it a try.

That sounds great!

I just put Unissued in the comment field in the date line. People tend to write Issued note there, which I reckon is a little overflowing information, since it goes without saying. A specimen is referred to as Specimen in the comments field, hence the Issued note comments are unneccesary. I yet haven't seen any Circulating coin comments in the date line of a coin.
