hi, I'm new on the forum, I was just doing my favorite pastime, sorting through 18th century coins, when I stumbled along this coin in particular, it is strangely thick, (in the third picture it is being compared to a normal Indian penny) and It might be a double struck, but I'm not sure. please give me any feedback you have, thanks.

Welcome to Numista. I see no evidence of your example being double struck. In 1864, there were two types of this coin produced. One being made of Copper/Nickel, 4.67 grams, KM#90. while the other is made of Bronze, 3.11 grams, KM#90a. One being thicker than the other. Weigh your coin to be certain of the variety.
Indian head cents minted from 1859-64 weighed over 50% more than the 1864-1909 type but had the same diameter so they are much thicker. Both types were made in 1864, but yours is definitely the heavier copper nickel type.
