Hi
I think there should be more options to browse by issuers in the coin and banknote catalogue and remove some of the current ones.
Here is my ideas:
Remove Antarctica in banknotes because there is nothing there as of yet.
Add dates/eras instead of the period timeline because that doesn’t sort the countries well and a quick search online about each of those eras comes up with many different answers for example Modern period one site states the end of the Middle Ages to the middle of the 1900s and another says 1500s to the middle of the 1810s. To add on the dates possibly they could be in 100-200 year intervals such as 1600-1699 or 1800-2000.
option to include/exclude Notgeld issues.
Move former colonial empire to the main pages with the other countries with options to include/exclude.
The continents as a selectable options for example to exclude everywhere but South American countries .
Please share your ideas or opinions about this.
Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.
Since I never browse by issuer, I don't find any reason to do such a thing, I can't imagine why it would/could be important. I still find all those different issuers are a pain in the neck, when I use the special search, which I always do. Anyway we all have our different ways of using the catalogue. This week I've amended missing KM# and I can tell you, that I could make a few change requests to improve the process, BUT how often do I do that? Not worth to make the numista heavier for some small jobs like that..

That would be okay in my opinion possibly a date system might be enough to sort out the time consuming issue of writing down the countries within a certain era.
Plus remove or change the confusing era timelines.
