this idea may have been discused in the past but...
How about addding a dark mode in numista?
for a long time i was using a chrome experement called Dark force which inverted the colours in every web page which made everything dark, but i was forced to remove it and was imediatly blinded by the numista site .
thus, i suggest this feature.
It's been asked for before, and I'd really like one.
Lots of people think it makes the coin pictures look bad as they are white jpgs, but at least the rest of the page doesn't blind you.

In the absence of a dedicated dark mode, I use an Edge Extension (Chrome etc. have them too) and it's not too bad, great for forum reading, but it messes with flag colours.
On most IPhones they have this feature since iOS 13. I think it should be in settings and the member can select the time when it switches from white (7PM) to black then back to white (7AM).
Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.
The problem with most of these automatic dark modes is that they are simple color inversion which makes the reading of visited links (forum thread titles) sometimes difficult, also if the thread has new posts or not is at least on my phone quite hard to see.
The "problem" with the wight backgrounds would only be solvable by using PNGs but those are prohibitively big and we would need to re-crop all pictures. This is far to much effort for little gain.
