Militaria (Military Chits/Vouchers, Safe Conduct Passes, Propaganda Notes) [Risolto]

I'm curious where military military chits/vouchers should be added to the catalog. Military Payment Certificates, Allied Military Currency, and specialized currency are already listed under banknotes. POW currency is listed under Exonumia/Paper Vouchers/Confinement Vouchers.

However, there is another class of currency that, at least the U.S., has issued in the form of chits/vouchers, usually for meals or sundries. There is also other military exonumia, including propaganda notes (from many countries) and safe conduct passes that look like authentic currency in many cases.

I'd recommend a new category under Exonumia/Paper Vouchers/Militaria to cover these items.

I agree, these vouchers need a home in exonumia. See here for earlier discussion of this.

I think I'll add them to the Exonumia / Unclassified Exonumia / Miscellaneous Paper Exonumia category, and in the title reference if they are propaganda notes, military chits etc. At some time in the future, if there is enough content perhaps it's own category will be created.

It seems nothing has been done on this yet. The opinion seems to favour a move to a dedicated (new) section in Exonumia, so as to match the equivalent tokens.

I'll add the creation of “Military vouchers" in Paper exonumia list of categories to the Admin list of topics to discuss :-)

Except as may be expressly provided in the G.R.Os it must in no circumstances be offered to any person who is not entitled to use British service canteens. We probably would need a better distinction between token/scrib-like items and just decorative stuff so all these whiners cry a bit less though.

In reality only one and it's  not a ref. Also from what this member said about other people in the past (which could be taken as terroristic threats) I don't feel the slightest bit bad about it.

Can someone just please create the category and we can go from there. 2 years is long enough, and there is a consensus in favour of it.

I agree that those notes with this text should go to exonumia. There are, however, a series of notes which should remain in banknotes but in a new section, namely these. I would suggest calling the new section British Military Administration or something similar.
