I'm a new coin collector and I just received some coins from one of my friends in Germany. He told me that they are a gift and I can do whatever I want with them. Because it's a gift from one of my best friends I don't think about selling, but I want to know how much they are worth. I don't think he will mind, and if some of these can make a real collector happy, I think why not?
I would really like to know the prices on these coins.
After some research I can say they are between VF and XF state. They are kept in plastic pouches.
I've been studying them for over a week now. It is very interesting discovering new stuff, but I'm not a real collector.

At last instance there is still the possibility to
exchange them to Euro at Deutsche Bundesbank.
1 EUR = 1,95583 DEM
Buuut, as you possibly already realized oftentimes
their value is considerably higher.
A good site to check on the quick the value of your
D-Mark coins is ebay.de or some others....
But they are indeed not for the birds, at all.
