I recall we had a discussion about this with another member here: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic108160.html. You've been a member here for exactly two months, why don't we let the Numista team (https://en.numista.com/team.php) decide whether or not there will be a new Numista token.

We can make a token for every member in the numista team and have some extra tokens to give away to members. anyways , we definitely need to have a design contest within the end of this year so that we have ample time to plan it.

This might asking a bit much but is it a good idea to instead of having only the winning design being minted have 2nd and 3rd includes as well but to save money only first gets minted in silver and the rest in base metal. Of course it depends on the budget and the idea brought up by other people and the admins.

​What I think needs to come first is to organise who is going to mint the coin in the first place by contacting various mints and private organisations before we can start the competition.
