So This Means Everyone in Venezuela who has 200 Thousands, 500 Thousands and 1 Million Bolivars has 48074.12, 120185.30 240370.60 Respectively in USD
No, Because the New Exchange Rate is Made to Comply with The New Bank Notes
Not with Old Bank Notes

Wrong info:The number on the coin page is wrong, but I think it's a bigger problem than Numista. I've found a number of conversion/exchange websites with wildly incorrect numbers for the value of a single VES, but accurate numbers for higher denominations. I think they're having trouble displaying the extremely small numbers involved and are defaulting to a $0.00 format and dropping the string of zeroes after the decimal point. If Numista displays the rate using one of these sources, it's going to glitch in the same way.

One million VES is only ~$0.23.
Edit: Wait! There may have been a redenomination: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-10-01/venezuela-s-battered-bolivar-gets-makeover-with-six-fewer-zeroes
If that has taken effect, the rate should be correct but the real value of the notes has been reduced.
I think you're right. Something is screwed up.
The 1 October 2021 change was the introduction of the bolívar digital (Bs.D VED) 1,000,000 VES = 1 VED. Current rate is ~ $1=4.18VED Numista is using $1~4.18VES

You're correct. Good catch.
Thank you

Just waiting for the new coin and notes to be added to the catalogue.
Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER (on a QWERTY keyboard) is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.
The new currency has been added: Bolivar Digital (2021 - date).
Correct rate should be approximately:
VED 1 = VES 1,000,000 = USD 0.234
or USD 1 = VED 4.27 = VES 4,273,504
Rates are updated automatically overnight and taken from external platform.
But many platforms either mixed old labelling VES with new rate of 1 to 4.27, or purely did not update their database (at least yet)...meaning for many/most platforms USD 1 = VES 4.27.
We may need to wait a little before it's on the right track..

It might have helped if the end date for the previous currency was added. I've requested the addition of the new 5 and 10 bolívares notes. Perhaps that will move things along.

News about the 6 zeros being removed and the introduction of the new currency has gone quite for the time being. Maybe it happened but is not reported or pictures of the new currency hasn't started circulating yet or it was a failure and it didn’t happened. We just need to wait and see.

Not really as there is no end date yet to the VES, both currencies are circulating at the same time and both are legal tender...at least for now.
The Bolivar Digital is technically not a new currency nor does it replace the Soberano; it is still the same Bolivar system except there is 6 zeros less printed on the banknote. Rather a cosmetic update.
Then you're right, we just need to wait and see.

I think it would be set out like the Iranian Rial and Toman in the banknotes section.

The best explanation I found is in the ISO 4217 amendment:
CitaThe Bolívar Soberano (VES) is redenominated by removing six zeros from the denominations. A new currency code VED/926 representing the new valuation (1,000,000 times old VES/928) is introduced on 1 October 2021 for any internal needs during the redenomination process, but is not replacing VES as the official currency code. The Central Bank of Venezuela will not adopt the new codes in the local system, VES/928 remains in use.
The actual currency code VES/928 remains the valid code after 1 October 2021 to use in any future transactions to indicate the redenominated Bolívar Soberano.

Just added French translations and published.
