Seems like a good approach. Some suggested changes:
1. Change "the Red Book of United States coins" to "A Guide Book of United States Coins (the Red Book)"
2. Year 1800 is missing on the right. Either add it or remove 1807 to be consistent.
3. Delete "Some years had smaller mintages than others" Being directly under the list of mintages that's stating the obvious.

Yes.
Since you left out the 1800 and 1807, the right side is obviously a summary of all the variants. I don't think the "All kinds" year lines deserve a place there.
It was to group the variants, but as such the "All kinds" is there to remember, what the year lines will be.
