Greetings
The Surinamese Coin Page has Pretty Confused System
The Surinamese Government Declared that "The Coins of Surinamese Guilder will be Legal Tender of Their Face Value in Surinamese Dollar"
But the Numista Coin Page Shows
The Value as 0.25 SRG
Which Should be 0.25 SRD or 1.33 JPY
But in Vain
Please Correct the Value of Coins

The reason for this lies in the oddity that coins of the Suriname Guilder served two currencies (the Surinamese guilder and the Surinamese dollar). Probably, the data structure of Numista doesn't allow linking one coin to two currencies.
In 2004, the Surinamese guilder was replaced by the Surinamese dollar at a rate of 1000 guilders to 1 dollar. Coins were declared to keep their face value in the new system. So overnight, ordinary circulation coins were worth a thousand times more!
If it isn't possible to link the Surinamese coins to two currencies, it makes more sense to link them to the latest one under which they served, i.e. the Surinamese dollar (SRD). After all, that's their exchange value today.

Those dated 2004 onwards should be under the Surinamese Dollar currency.
