Many coins have been incorporated in jewelry, coin collectors generally do not approve.

Your piece is very nice, the painted lockets are possibly valuable.

It is so easy now - no one remembers before google.
On the original star trek in 1967, Spock had a box called the universal translator.
They used it to converse with humanoids on other worlds.
now we all have it in our pockets too, and converse with any humanoid on the planet at leisure.

I remember before google and I remember the universal translator on Star Trek. I remember being fascinated by such a device but also remember thinking how far fetched such an idea was. The other day I was working in a covid vaccination clinic and a deaf woman came in for a shot. I needed to explain the procedure to her but didn't know how since she couldn't hear. As I started trying to communicate with her she kept looking at her iPhone. I was puzzled at first but then realized her iPhone was "translating" my spoken words into text which she was reading.
We've seemed to have overcome communication barriers, too bad we can't overcome cultural barriers.

Of course a lot of members remember before google. In a coin collector environment the average age is rather high. I even remember the time there was no toilet paper (for common people). We used newspapers to do the job. Explain that to the youth!
I must have seen the original Star Trek in 1967, although I can't remember the "universal translator" anymore.

Yes it is. But the normal thing to do is the one who seeks help does the effort and uses Google Translate (in case he doesn't speak English or not well enough) so most people can understand what he wants and not the other way around. It's not logical everybody else has to use Google Translate to understand what the OP wants.
Of course, in this case, it was his first post here on Numista so no reason to blame him but it's better to first advice him to use a common language and only then respond to his question.
Žao mi je, novi sam član... pošto sam sve mogao čitati na hrvatskom, tako sam i napisao... Pokušao sam pročitati pravila ponašanja ali nisam stekao dojam da moram pisati na engleskom ... ispravak primijećen, i još jednom prihvatite moju ispriku

I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.

I am a typical "ugly American" in that I speak one language - English. But, that being said, I don't expect people in other countries - except England and Australia - to speak English. I expect them to speak their native language and encourage it. I have Google translation. I use that if I need to speak with someone in a language besides English. I hope it's more of an inconvenience for me than the person I am attempting to communicate with - no translation program is perfect after all.
With a little patience and understanding, we as humans have the ability to communicate with each other regardless of the language we use. So if you want to speak on this forum in your native tongue, by all means proceed.

I am very sorry to disagree with this opinion. I am Spanish, and I speak my two mother languages: Spanish and Catalan. I do not think it is a question of whether there are relatively easy methods to translate a language, but to follow established rules and to make communication between all of us as easy as possible. English is the most widely used language internationally, so I think we should all make an effort to facilitate a more fluid Forum. I wish there was a Forum in Spanish (Second language in the world by number of native speakers), but as long as that does not exist, I will continue trying to communicate in English to facilitate a more fluent linguistic exchange.
